Local darling Liyana Fizi is set to enthral with stripped back, sweet acoustic tunes tinged with a mix of bossa, folk and indie pop accents. Since her debut as a solo singer-songwriter in 2009, the melodic musician has cemented her standing as one of Malaysia’s best. Word has it she’s starting work on her sophomore record to follow up 2011’s successful debut ‘Between the Lines’.
