Time Out says

Take your music further at Guinness Amplify 2016. Amplify Music Academy is a series of panels and talks by local and international industry professionals, the likes of Ben Willis (international manager of indie darling-turned-international pop star Yuna), music director of Maveriq Studios Paul Morrison, and Fly FM's music director Syamir Ali, who will be speaking respectively on why good band management matters, the basics of music publishing, and how to get airplay.

Plus, get tips on producing a good album by multi-hyphenate engineer-mixer-producer Anna Laverty; pick the brains of marketing manager of Warner Malaysia Dawn Benedict and frontman of Kyoto Protocol Fuad Alhabshi on social media marketing for music; and join a guitar workshop by Rithan of Deja Voodoo Spells. Seats are limited, so sign up at the website now. The Amplify Music Academy starts at 3pm and ends at 6.30pm.

Singer-songwriter Talitha Tan, jazz band Fazz, and indiepop group Saturday Afternoon will play pop-up shows from 5.45pm until 6.45pm, before local heroes GTXperiment, Kyoto Protocol and Paperplane Pursuit take the stage at Amplify Live Gigs from 8pm onwards.
