Bach to Tchaikovsky

Flanked by the MPO, the concert will present Tchaikovsky’s Third Symphony, his least-known work, as well as music by Bach – not Johann Sebastian, but Carl Philipp Emanuel, his fifth child who tasted great fame during his lifetime, even more so than any other Bach. Kirill Karabits conducts, alongside featured soloist Simon Emes.
