MAKJ at Zouk

Mackenzie Johnson, better known as MAKJ, is only 23 years old but he’s already achieved a level of global success not many DJs can boast about at that age. The California native first discovered a passion for mixing while working abroad in China as a professional racecar driver at the tender age of 15. But when he purchased his own set of Technics 1200 Turntables, you could say his career path took a bit of a turn – he’s been spinning decks ever since. Now, MAKJ will be making a stop in KL as part of his Global Entry Tour – definitely a party you’ll want to go. How do we know? Well, he received tutelage from the late legendary DJ AM, amazed crowds at major shows like 2013 Ultra Festival and TomorrowWorld, and collaborated with Hardwell to produce the hit ‘Countdown’ – with a DJ of this calibre, there’s hardly any room for disappointment.
