Following the success of last July’s sold out show at The Actors Studio, Mull Debauch to Kuala Lumpor returns for a third edition this month for another thrilling showcase of experimental music. Bands from all around the country are slated to perform at this intimate ten-hour gig, including the likes of KL’s They Will Kill Us All, Khottal from Melaka, Johor’s Medinee, Damn Dirty Apes from Penang and most exciting of all, Nice Stupid Playground. The cult ’90s indie-rock outfit from Kuching are famed for their ’80s Brit-rock-infused sleeper hits ‘Bedroom Window’ and ‘Stereo Girl’.
Also look out for the highly anticipated 90-minute Wàllõped showcase, which opens Mull Debauch to Kuala Lumpor and features 15 musicians from various bands. The impressive line up includes Free Deserters guitarist Brendan Teh, Space Gambus Experiment cellist Timmy Ong and Under the Velvet Sky alto clarinet player Jordan Rais. Wong Boon Ken
