Get upclose with international indie bands at Upfront, a series of casual gigs held at The Bee, Publika which saw the likes of Australia's The Jezabels kicking off the new series last June. This Jan 11, you can look forward to none other than British indie rock band The Vaccines.
The West London four-piece burst onto the scene in 2010, bagging notable awards along the way including winning Best New Band at the 2012 NME Awards. The band have also played two years in a row at the Reading and Leeds Festival in 2011 and 2012, aside from having opened for key acts including The Stone Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arctic Monkeys. Opening for The Vaccines at this gig will be soul and blues act, The Rubens.
