This homage to Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi will feature performances by local sopranos, tenors and baritone talents, accompanied by Maestro Florian Caroubi on piano and the EST Opera Chorus together with children from the Opera for Kids workshop. Verdi is one of the most celebrated Italian composers of the 19th century, best remembered for his operas 'Aida', 'La traviata', 'Rigoletto' and 'Nabucco' among others. The performance begins at 8pm on both days, with a cocktail reception at 7pm on April 26. On April 27, there will be a pre-performance talk at 7pm. Admission is by donation.
