Returning this year for its seventh instalment, The Cooler Lumpur Festival aims to celebrate our heroes without capes who played their part in combating pressing issues of our time with the theme #SuperCanggih. Happening from September 30 till October 6 at Publika.
Visitors can expect exciting and engaging programmes throughout the week. Among the highlights of this festival are the panels and thought-provoking discussions on topics such as Advocacy Through Media with influential speakers like Ian Yee, editor from R.AGE, activist and award-winning filmmaker, Nadira Ilana and many more!
Check out photo exhibition by PIXERF, showcasing works by four of Asia’s talented photographers – Xyza D Cruz, Tom Potisit, Yaman Ibrahim and Nadirah Zakariya. You can also walk the streets of Kuala Lumpur with these visual masters and learn the way to capture moments from a different perspective. More from this festival are workshops to upgrade your travel photography skills and hands-on workshops hosted by Me.reka where you can make your own terrarium, bioplastic packaging and straw kit out of repurposed materials. Food choices are also abundant at The Belly Good Market featuring local entrepreneurs serving up food using local artisanal products.
