Polish DJ Arctic Moon (Tomas Popielarsk) is one of the most exciting producers to watch in the trance scene. Tomas was largely a producer until 2007, when he decided to focus on DJing and creating euphoric and uplifting trance music with elements of classical music, new age and chillout. Apart from EDM, Tomas draws influences from rock (anything from indie to post-), and the artists he admires include Hammock, M83, Caspian and Explosions in the Sky.
Trance heavyweights like Aly & Fila, Dash Berlin, Paul Oakenfold and Armin van Buuren have been lending support to this rising star, especially on his tracks ‘Adelaide’ and ‘True Romance’. Aly & Fila have even named him the breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2012.
Since then, Tomas has toured extensively, performing in Spain, Holland and Italy, playing massive festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultrasonic. On top of that, to keep himself busy, he does a monthly radio show called ‘Arctic Moon presents AFTERWORLD’. Expect a night of melodic trance music with a techy edge. Ian Loh
