Joining the list of restaurants and bars on the TREC strip is AVALON Club Lounge. Decked out in a stylish royal gold-orange colour palette with an exposed brick wall and cosy leather couches pushed against the wall, the space is warm and inviting. If you prefer a more upbeat vibe, there are bar tables and stools surrounding the dance floor. The DJ console is the main focus of the room, equipped with colourful LED lights and a powerful sound system.
For the ladies, come on Wednesdays and Thursdays in groups of four and receive a free bottle of wine. Premium cocktails are also served while stocks last. At AVALON Club Lounge, the bar sticks to the classic gentlemen’s pour with a heavier dose of 45ml of alcohol instead of the usual 30ml. Classic cocktails are served with a twist here, one of the most potent is the Around The World, a combination of premium brandy, whisky, vodka, gin, rum and crème de menthe (a peppermint-flavoured alcoholic drink) that’s topped with beer. For something fiery, the Avalon Babe combines a double shot of Hendrick’s gin, ginger ale and a dash of cili padi and lemongrass. There’s no food served at AVALON, but Meja Kitchen & Bar on the ground floor offers a menu featuring Asian fusion cuisine.
