Trust we have in Sidney Samson, a DJ who picked up the guitar when he was seven years old. His interest in DJing was sparked when he saw a couple of DMC Mix Championships. Starting at the age of 14, Samson mainly played R&B and hip hop at local clubs. Since then, he has switched his style to the more dance friendly house genre.
After his release of the club banger ‘It’s All Funked Up’, his career took off in the Dutch scene followed by hits such as ‘Nobody Move’, ‘Rock This’ and ‘Girls’. But what really put him on the map of the Dutch EDM soundscape was ‘Riverside’, which took him on tours around the world to play at key venues, festivals and clubs. He additionally does remixes for superstars of the likes of Katy Perry, David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Rihanna and even J-Lo herself. He is now expanding his career as a producer for some of the world’s major pop/urban/dance crossover stars. Keep an eye out for this burgeoning songster. Jay Chooi
