Bo Amir Iqram is perhaps as well known for his Sideshow Bob-like hairstyle as his music, but that is soon about to change. Having recently signed under prominent Australian dance label Vicious Recordings, Mr Fluff, as he is affectionately known, will be staging an announcement party to celebrate being the first Malaysian to be part of the Vicious staple. At the shindig, the popular Vertigo resident is set to play his new mixes with Vicious, whose co-founder Andy Van was behind global dance hit ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’ with Madison Avenue in 1999.
The KL producer/DJ first burst onto the scene alongside Joey G with 2006 Heineken Thirst Studio winners CosmicSpaceMunkys before lending his talents and versatility to Bedroom Sanctuary, RECovery, Seven and other projects, which he’ll still be contributing to despite his engagements Down Under. As Mr Fluff, he specialises in delivering house, techno, electro and ambient tracks, with ‘Louder’ even gaining airplay on David Guetta’s famed mix series. Wong Boon Ken
