This 30-odd-year-old Medan Damansara institution, fashioned after an old-school, cowboy-themed American steak diner, now boasts a flagship outlet in the posh confines of Starhill Gallery. Jake’s might have lost some of its lustre over the years, due to the influx of more fashionable contemporaries, but it remains a reliable source for a hearty round of home-cooked oxtail soup and chunky cuts of T-Bone and Porterhouse.
