At first glance, Love Health Vegetarian is your standard meatless Chinese restaurant – calligraphy hanging from the walls, wooden chairs and tables, and old Chinese uncles drinking tea from clay teapots. Ask for recommendations from the lady boss and you’ll be gamely assured that ‘everything on the menu is good’ – but we particularly like the snow butter mushroom. As an added bonus, the shop also sells vegetarian products and snacks, so you can attempt cooking your own dishes at home.
