Marmalade prides itself on delivering the familiar amidst today’s sea of stark and modern dining establishments. Marmalade’s interiors are thus suitably cosy little nooks and the food coming out of the kitchen is just as comforting. They have lots of wholesome, generous salads on the menu as well as a good selection of fresh juices to wash it all down. Little adjustments in ingredients make all the difference here (wholemeal pancakes with caramelised apples anyone?) and classics like the club sandwich are reinvented with a health-conscious twist. Their heartier fare has also won admirers – the Moroccan lamb shank, for instance – and it’s a popular spot for mums and tots.
Marmalade won Best Healthy Eats in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2013 and 2012. It was voted Best Healthy Eating/Vegetarian Restaurant in 2010 and 2011. It was also shortlisted Best Family Restaurant and Best Cafe / Bakery in 2009. Our food awards are 100% voted for by the people of KL. This way, we guarantee that popularity and consistent performance are rewarded.

I have been a long-time patron of Marmalade in Bangsar. They have always served up some of the healthiest, tastiest and most affordable meals that you can find in Bangsar Village.
Unfortunately, my last visit to Marmalade (19/12/2016) left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be back for a long time – if ever.
My last visit was on Monday, 19th December. I visited Marmalade for lunch and wanted to order A Chicken Pie, and – was told it was not available. then the Grilled Chicken but, then I was told by the waitress that potatoes, of all things, were not available.I'ts really ridiculous after being newly renovated & refurbished to have many things on the menu being unavaliable. I eventually chose to have the spaghetti bolognaise
The spaghetti bolognaise was the worst thing I’ve tasted. It was tasteless, overpriced, and disgusting. I cannot imagine tasting a worse spaghetti if I tried. To spaghetti cost RM 28 with little to no ingredients and overpriced for the quality I expected from Marmalade. To add insult to injury, I suffered a bout of food poisoning almost immediately after consuming the meal. In short, the service was appalling, the food was disgusting, and I was this close to reporting Marmalade for suspected food hygiene violations.
Marmalade has not only lost my business, they have lost my trust. Save yourself the dangers of contaminated food and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of safer, better choices that deserve your patronage than Marmalade.
