This Catalan gastrobar in Bangsar is one of the area’s more stylish for a quick dash to Europe. Chef David Caral, formerly of Circus, has concocted a menu rarely seen in the city – Iberico ham croquettes, salmorejo (chilled tomato puree), rice cooked with squid ink and a fun take on patatas bravas are only a few of the tapas-sized plates on offer. When in doubt, definitely try the cold eggplant puree with pine nuts and honey; but when in a crisis, the Iberico pork ribs with roasted peppers are a must.

Tastemaker

The food was average (in fact, it gave our whole table food poisoning)

The only reason I'm rating this highly is because of their gin selection.  The gin and tonic goblets that are infused with botanicals that change based on the brand of gin are worth it.  The service was also impeccable! Go with friends for a couple of late night drinks

Would have to say I wasn't impressed at all. Came here with a group friends the other night and we all found the portion sizes were to small and it seemed like the aloli was on everything! Our patatas bravas were nothing like they should actually be and our paellas were burnt which was all we could taste when we said something about it the waiter dismissed us and walked away. Poor service and food quality didn't match the price you pay for it. It's a nice place and great concept just needs more work.

Good job Mercat.. Thank you for your great service.. The service team were friendly and helpful, it's definitely the go to place for gatherings..

Fantastic food . Fantastic drinks. It's out of the world . And the service is awesome. All of you should check this place out. And the Beehoon Bodoh reminds me of my mums cooking. Ask Jenny for it. 😁
