Belgian-born Chef Evert Onderbeke of High Tide fame heads the culinary team at Soleil, a European spot in Section 17. The area’s fine dining quota may be exhausted by Isadora Chai’s Bistro à Table, but Chef Evert steers from French tradition with touches of Asian influence. The focus is seafood, whipped up into dishes like marinated crab meat with avocado and tomato (pictured), alongside fresh catches of fish and scallop. Upping the restaurant’s clout is Yuhei Teraoka, an established sommelier formerly of Cilantro.
