Belgian-born Chef Evert Onderbeke of High Tide fame heads the culinary team at Soleil, a European spot that has moved from its previous location in Section 17, Petaling Jaya into a new space in DC Mall. Chef Evert steers from French tradition with touches of Asian influence. The focus is seafood, whipped up into dishes like marinated crab meat with avocado and tomato (pictured), alongside fresh catches of fish and scallop. Upping the restaurant’s clout is Yuhei Teraoka, an established sommelier formerly of Cilantro.
