Thai food might not spring to mind when you’re looking to eat in the city’s nightlife district, but here stands an unassuming, no-frills restaurant, tipped for serving authentic Thai street food in the heart of KL. Hidden amongst the rows of Chinese restaurants, Thai Somtam Seafood serves an array of favourites prepared by a team of experienced Thai chefs. Their Somtam (papaya salad) and Pla Nueng Ma Naw (steamed fish in lemon) are popular choices here. A word of caution though, their food can be very spicy.
Thai Somtam Seafood was shortlisted Best Thai in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2013. Our food awards are 100% voted for by the people of KL. This way, we guarantee that popularity and consistent performance are rewarded.
