After a successful venture with Indonesian restaurant Little Jakarta, 67-year-old Uncle Wee from Malacca opened Peranakan restaurant Big Baba with his nephew Remus as a way to complete his dreams. The food is good, but the decor is even better; touches such as batik upholstered chairs, an array of tiffin carriers, and turquoise bamboo blinds fronting the restaurant make Big Baba perfect for Nyonya-themed date nights.
