[title]Staying true to its tagline ‘Truly Malaysian Cuisine’, Madam Kwan’s continues to serve the best of Malaysian food in its newest outpost at 163 Retail Park, located in the thriving suburb of Mont Kiara. Madam Kwan’s Terrace differs from the other restaurants with its lush green surrounds, which is in tune with the mall’s concept of a nature park. This new outlet sets the benchmark for future restaurants and has more than enough space for private and corporate functions with a seating capacity of 150 in the dining area and 30 more in the lounge.
Madam Kwan’s Terrace offers diners a more varied menu including a wine list, which isn’t available in their other restaurants. A highlight of the exclusive Terrace Menu is a delicious selection of snacks, like the made-for-sharing Snack Platter (crispy onion rings, sticky wings with homemade chilli glaze, seafood stuffed tofu; RM39.90), soft-shell crab steamed buns (RM29), grilled garlic prawns (RM38.90) and the popular chicken satay (RM18.90).
The Terrace Menu also features cocktails that highlight local ingredients like assam boi and lychee, and recipes have all been developed in-house. Unique combinations abound like the Passionate Beerjito (RM22.90), which is a fun take on a mojito with beer, passion fruit and strong hints of mint and lime. The Baby Guinness Lychee (RM33.90) comes in a set of six shots and is made with Guinness, lychee juice and whipped cream. Other must-try cocktails include the Apple Mojito (RM29.90), Assamboi Apple Beer (RM22.90) and Gula Melaka Lychee Mojito (RM29.90).
If you’re looking for a venue for a corporate event / launch or birthday party, there’s a wide variety of personalised menus to choose from. The Kiddo Party Menu includes tasty favourites like Chicken Wanton Mee and Milo Dinosaur, and a popcorn machine for unlimited popcorn, which the kids absolutely love!
