Though barely a year old, Brasserie Fritz has already settled comfortably in the heart of the city, providing a calm oasis in the midst of the bustling Bukit Bintang area. The elegant space draws diners in from the daily grind, and the food – a mix of hearty sharing plates, indulgent dishes and fresh seafood from the dedicated seafood bar – are charming affairs and full of flavour.

Planning to eat out instead? The eatery is serving a host of festive menus throughout the holiday season, featuring fresh seafood as well as hearty dishes from the kitchen.

Offered throughout the month (until Dec 23) is the five-course festive dinner menu (RM180++). This menu sees a first course of oyster gelée with potatoes and leek, followed by a choice of hamachi or poached lobster. Next up is the choice of either poached chicken with truffle or a roast beef and foie gras. The elegant cheese course with Vacherin Mont-d’Or cheese and dessert of Christmas pudding round up a great meal.

On Christmas Eve, the seven-course dinner menu (RM280++) is made up of all the dishes from the aforementioned festive menu, served with both the hamachi and poached lobster, as well as both the poached chicken with truffle and the roast beef and foie gras. Diners will also get a choice to pair the meal with wine (RM460++).

Have brunch on Christmas Day in the middle of the city with Brasserie Fritz’s special Christmas brunch menu (RM150++). Start with a variety of breads and jams (including molasses rye bread and quince jam) and a seafood platter with scallop carpaccio and Pacific oysters. The second and third courses are made up of bites like smoked salmon ravioli, chicken liver paté, roast fennel, truffle consommé and more.

For mains, take your pick from either the grilled sirloin, spiced rub confit lamb shoulder, roast chicken or salmon en croûte, served with a selection of sauces. On the table will be side dishes like roasted sherry glaze carrots and more – great to have with any main. Desserts will come on a three-tier stand, which is filled with treats like mixed fruit cake, Christmas pudding, calisson, macarons and more.

And that’s not it – Brasserie Fritz’s six-course New Year’s Eve menu (RM220++) is a great meal to end 2018. The seafood elements of the menu come by way of poached oysters and seabass fillet poached in olive oil; while the organic chicken baked in a hay and salt crust and the grilled hazelnut-crusted lamb short loin provide the meat element of a well-rounded meal. Pan-seared foie gras with grapefruit reduction is a light break between all the meaty options, and dessert is Brasserie Fritz’s own interpretation of a Charlotte Royal, the Fritz Charlotte Royale.

So, if you’re planning for an uncomplicated celebration in the heart of the city this year, Brasserie Fritz should be your go-to choice.
