[title]For this mid-autumn festival, Hilton Petaling Jaya draws inspiration from the story of Jade Rabbit that is believe to eternally be responsible for making the elixir of life for immortals. According to Chinese folklore, the Jade Rabbit is a character that lives on the moon. Legend has it that the trusty companion of the moon goddess is a selfless, noble, and compassionate creature to whom offerings are made during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The hotel redefines what elixir of life means and incorporates ingredients which provides longevity to health and life in its mooncake series. The main ingredients are food that contains antioxidants and promotes overall wellbeing such as pomegranate, blueberries, and raisins in both the traditional and snow skin mooncakes; being both indulgent and healthy.
The Jade Rabbit Premium Series includes a signature box has an intricate laser-cut wood finishing, featuring two adorable rabbits, against a night background with a full moon. Available in two colours, blue and pink priced at RM 118 nett (box of 4) and peach priced at RM 68 nett (box of 2). The Oriental Series comes in a crimson box featuring delicate cherry blossom flowers, an ode to the reason for the celebration. It comes in two options, the premium box priced at RM 88 nett (box of 4) and the standard box priced at RM 78 nett (box of 4).
The hotel also presents the Traditional Baked Premium Mooncakes with an array of mouthwatering halal-baked mooncakes. The selection includes their signature Blueberry Blossom, Pomegranate Golden Raisins and Mixed Five Nuts (RM 35) as well as other traditional flavours from RM 30 onwards. Their renowned snow-skin flavours including Blueberry Cheese, Pomegranate Golden Raisins and more are priced at RM 28 onwards.
From now until September 22, Hilton Petaling Jaya also presents their 2019 Mid-Autumn Afternoon Tea – Jade Rabbit Series Set (RM78 nett).
