This festive season, Nobu Kuala Lumpur is offering omakase lunch and dinner menus on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The seven-course dinner starts with the Zenzai Moriawase, which features six small bites including one of Nobu’s signature dishes, the yellowtail with jalapeño.
You then move on to the seasonal assorted sushi, the madai sashimi dry miso salad, and the two main courses: konbu dashi poached lobster, as well as Kobe beef with tamari pepper sauce. As per Japanese custom, the celebratory noodles, Inaniwa, will be served before the Christmas Forest dessert, where you’ll enjoy a tempura gen-mai cha ice cream served with black goma and green tea olive oil sponge.
The good news is, for dinner on Christmas Day, there will be a tuna filleting and dismantling show by sushi chef Take-San. Dinner reservations require a RM500 deposit and you can choose one of two seatings – the 6pm to 8.30pm slot, or the second slot that starts from 8.45pm. The Christmas omakase dinner is priced at RM560++ or RM598++ (with a glass of Cava wine) per person.
The lunch menu (12noon to 2pm), however, will be a five-course adaptation of the dinner menu, priced at only RM 250++ per person.
