This little gem in Plaza Damas focuses on Thakali cuisine, food that is popular in Nepal's Mustang, a district in the western region of Annapurna just south of Tibet. The restaurant’s most prized order is the thali set – tiny tubs and portions of curries and vegetables set upon a round tray. The dal is a masterclass in dal-making, if there ever was one. Also try the momo, a ubiquitous Nepalese dumpling that can be eaten steamed, pan-fried or deep-fried.
