Time Out says

Nobu Kuala Lumpur is introducing a two-day only sake-pairing omakase dinner, where every item on the seven-course menu is paired with a different sake. The sakes featured are from the restaurant’s premium range, and they are Nobu ‘The Sake’ Jyunmai Daiginjo, Hokusetsu Yukino Hibiki, Nobu ‘The Premium Sake’ Daiginjo TK 40 and Nobu Special Reserve 28.

The seven-course meal opens with a ‘Zenzai’ platter which includes kunamoto oyster, kinmedai tiradito with dashi jelly as well as sesame tofu and sea urchin with caviar. This is paired with the Nobu ‘The Sake’ Jyunmai Daiginjo, a medium-bodied sake known for its fragrance.  Among the highlights of this seven-course meal is the sashimi salad with spinach dry miso; the fresh kanpachi matches perfectly with the Hokusetsu Yukino Hibiki, a delicate and clean sake.

Apart from that, steak fans will enjoy the Kobe with quinoa tabbouleh salsa. The succulent beef is paired with the Nobu Special Reserve 28, a type of sake with yuzu juice. The omakase ends with a Yuzu crème brulee and mochi paired with Umeshu, which isn’t sake but plum wine instead.
