[title]Sheraton Petaling Jaya is becoming known as a great option for dining and entertainment in PJ. With Chinese New Year fast approaching and plans for reunion dinners well underway, why not make this year different (and easier!) by treating the family to a memorable evening at the Sheraton PJ?
The theme this year is Splendour of China and an indulgent 9-course set menu has been created starting with a traditional yee sang of fresh Norwegian salmon and jelly fish. This will be followed by an array of classic dishes including slow-stewed abalone with dried oysters and black moss, Guangzhou crispy roast chicken, deep-fried butter prawns and steamed tiger garoupa.
This reunion dinner (RM1,988nett per table of 10 pax) will be held on Feb 4 in the impressive Grand Ballroom, and an exciting line-up of performers and dance troupes will entertain as you dine. The festivities will begin with two lion dances and followed by a LED drum performance, Chinese acrobatics, the famous Thousand Hands dance, live traditional music and grand lucky draw prizes.
From Jan 21 till Feb 25, Yue Chinese Restaurant has three delicious set menus (from RM2,388nett per table of 10 pax) to choose from featuring signature dishes like double-boiled dried scallop soup with fish maw, steamed cod fish and braised whole five-head abalone with dried oysters amongst many others.
For a more casual dining experience, head to Feast where the Reunion Dinner Buffet (Feb 4, RM138 per adult) promises a great spread, and the daily Prosperity themed buffets (Jan 21-Feb 25) are available during weekday lunch (RM108*), weekend high tea (RM108*) and daily dinner (RM118*). There is also a yee sang menu available at Yue, Feast and for takeaway with a choice of Norwegian salmon, abalone and decadent black truffle and fish roe.
