Tai Syou Japanese Restaurant

The new kid on the SS15 block, Tai Syou is a cosy izakaya serving up standard Japanese fare at reasonable prices – sashimi, nabemono for the rainy evenings, a variety of grilled goods, tempura, dons and more. While there are some tatami rooms for private dining, we say grab a seat at the counter where you get the best view of the chef. There’s a decent wine selection and service is attentive even on a crowded Sunday evening. Try the gindara shioyaki.
