The latest kid on the street (the same street which currently houses Awegallery and BRATS) is Ilaika, which champions a good mix of under-the-radar local designers and of-the-moment names, such as ficus&jars, Root Remedies, Shuren Projects, wanpi.co, and ZáHuoHang. The beautifully-designed space is a delight to visit, and when you’re done admiring the accessories, beauty products, and home décor items on display, recharge with a drink and a doughnut (Ilaika stocks juices and light bites), or pop by Shokudo, which is only a few doors away.
