Looking to buy crockery? This modest-looking store – aptly named Plates and Bowls in Malay – is a great place to find what you need. Practically anything kitchen-related can be found here at bargain prices.

It’s the only outlet for the wholesale company, whose main warehouse is in Cheras. They’ve been serving the F&B industry for over twenty years and the array of items here is remarkable. There are baking items, china, and lots of plastic products. You’ll also find plastic chairs, large rubbish bins, and there’s an area specialized reserved for cleaning and laundry-related goods.

Interesting finds include their Japanese teacups for only RM2.90 and the faux banana leaf serving plates that only cost RM3.20. The latter comes in a variety of fun colours, including orange, yellow, and lime green. And, just in case you’re cooking for a party of 30, you’ll be pleased to know they also sell industrial-sized steel woks.
