‘No time to train’ is no excuse, now that Country Club Fitness FTX has opened its doors in Malaysia, and with it comes its 45-minute functional training eXtreme (FTX) methodology to blast calories, burn fat and build stamina, for when you’re big on building muscles (and getting fit, sure) but short on time.
The India-based company, which operates over 25 fitness centres worldwide, launched its first fitness club in Bukit Bintang recently; it’s a first-of-its-kind functional training studio in the city that offers fitness methods that combines technology with highintensity interval training (HIIT, an exercise buzzword). Based on the theme of the day, a new gym layout is set out daily, with exercise routines broadcast on the nine LCD screens fixed around the centre. Members then work on nine different high-power, timer-based workouts to achieve results in terms of shaping, stamina and strength.
