When he reports for work as a typist, Jason Wong makes it clear to his only other colleague in a two-person office, Miss Lee, that his employment is strictly temporary. Jason longs for a brighter future in greener pastures, but he soon finds a kindred spirit in Miss Lee, a spinster with unfulfilled romantic fantasies.
