Do some good by uncluttering your home of unwanted books. Between now and August 5, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur is seeking book donations in conjunction with its Books for CARE program. The goal is the accumulate 50kg worth of books, which myriad non-profit organisations will channel into children's literacy.
Simply drop off your used books at the 'Books for CARE' corner on the ground floor of Avenue K shopping mall. Stop by between 12noon-2pm on the final day of the donation drive for a sweet treat: staff members from DoubleTree will be dishing out out free chocolate chip cookies to the public.
