Creative minds can fuel up at any of Commune’s eateries. For a good cup of coffee, SevenCups serves artisan coffee and smoothies alongside pies and ice cream in a relaxing rooftop area that’s lit up with plenty of natural light; while Warm Planets offers another option for even more coffee, cakes and dessert. You can find hot meals, pastries and fruit teas at 123 Bake, and Salad Atelier caters to those looking for a healthier option, serving customisable salads in a garden-inspired café.
Commune’s outlets also frequently organise workshops and classes to encourage ideas and get creative juices flowing. Its newest tenant is HeArt Craft Studio, an art studio offering aroma and art therapy via a selection of workshops such as Zentangle, Japanese pastel art, ancient mandala painting and more, all designed to help you reconnect with yourself.

Additionally, the baking studio 123 Bake hosts reasonably priced baking workshops for all ages and Warm Planets often runs coffee brewing workshops for both the coffee enthusiast and novice. Kids (and adults too) can nurture their creative side by creating environmentally friendly items at Cardboard Country’s art workshops, taking part in clay art classes at Yenji, or exploring the art of 3D printing with workshops and classes at Techne City.
If you’re looking to add a bit of green to your home, JC Nursery is a concept and plant lifestyle store that sells an extensive selection of air plants, terrariums, succulents and more. Wind Down @ Commune
Commune itself also occasionally runs events and collaborates with its outlets for festive celebrations. Past celebrations include the Mid-Autumn Festival, Malaysia Day and the Indie Coffee Fest. An upcoming event at Commune is the Wind Down @ Commune. The festival will take place on Oct 18 (7.30-10pm), and will see numerous types of beverages on offer alongside popular German snacks, games, lucky draws, and live music performances by WVC featuring Janet Lee throughout the night.
