Kendama-Shi Yusuke Ito in Malaysia

Catch professional kendama player Yusuke Ito live in action at Pavilion's Tokyo Street for two performances and workshops (4pm & 6pm). Having taken up the Japanese cup-and-ball game at age seven, Yusuke set the Guinness World Record for longest game played when he played the kendama for seven and a half hours straight; he subsequently broke his own record a few years later. Aside from his annual shows in Japan, the kendama master regularly tours Europe and the United States, and is a member of Waonwagi, a trio of kendama players who merge the game with traditional Japanese instruments.
