Parents without Partners

This month, a three-week photography exhibition featuring the portraits of 12 single parents and their children (shot by local photographer Azrul K Abdullah) will be unveiled at the Centre for Asian Photographers (CAP) gallery as part of a collaboration between The School by Jaya One and single-parent family social group, Parents without Partners (PwP). Aimed to help raise awareness on the plight of impoverished single parents, the event will also see the enrichment mall sharing its Recycling Centre and providing retail space for Jumble Sale, a revenue-earning entity by PwP to collect and sell used items.
