[title]Every year, a highlight event within the automotive industry is the Volkswagen Fest. This annual festival brings together car owners and enthusiasts for a fun weekend filled with exciting activities and lots of cars.
This year, Volkswagen Fest 2018 is held from Oct 12-14 (Fri & Sat, 10am-12midnight; Sun, 10am-10pm) at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam. With a full range of activities and events scheduled, there's something for everyone in the whole family, and will be a great weekend out.
A regular highlight at the festival is the array of great deals on new as well as pre-registered cars. (PS: Selected pre-registered models even come with free petrol for a year!) This is fantastic news for potential owners as this is your chance to snap up great cars at even greater prices. If you're in the market for a new car, there's no better time to make that decision.
You’ll also get the chance to view and test drive the range of VW models around the festival grounds – a Volkswagen is better experienced than explained, so head over and check it out for yourself; the Volkswagen Fest is the best time to do that.
For existing car owners, there will be a section where you can get your cars inspected and evaluated by licensed inspectors (for free!) who will help you get to know your car a little better, especially the technical side. If you’re unsure or want to know more about your vehicle, here’s where you should be.
Throughout the festival, you can look forward to classic cars displays, graffiti painting showcases, busker performances and more. There will also be food trucks where you can fuel up for the day, and a selection of VW kombi vans offering even more food and drinks alongside interesting knick-knacks for sale. If all that food makes you a little guilty, join the sunrise yoga and HIIT workout sessions by GuavaPass on Sunday morning.
Each night at the festival will see a special event happening. On Friday night, settle down with the family and enjoy an outdoor movie screening, featuring the family-friendly comedy ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded’. Saturday night will see a concert by popular local bands Paperplane Pursuit and Bunkface alongside the soulful singer-songwriter Talitha Tan.
