Part of Fergana Art’s [ber] Borak series, Hishamuddin Rais will be giving a talk exploring the meaning of art and its functions in society. Also known as Isham Rais, the writer, activist and film director has made a name himself for his eccentric views on arts, politics and society. The talk will also be accompanied with poetry recitals by Rahmat Haron and Khalid Salleh.
