Shibori Batik Silkscreen Exhibition

The exhibition showcases contemporary textile art and design by our local craftsmen. Feast your eyes on the Japanese Shibori, a cloth dyeing technique performed by binding, stitching, folding, twisting and compressing. Besides our traditional batik, a special exhibition on silkscreen reveals the intricate printing technique of using woven mesh and stenciling to produce patterns on fabrics.
