Isetan The Japan Store will be opening in Lot 10 and the opening festivities promises fun times for all. Part of the opening includes a (free) café talk on the café culture of Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur facilitated by Time Out Tokyo. A conversation between Japanese artist Shun Kawakami and Kuala Lumpur-based coffee purveyor Joey Mah, the talk will focus on the third wave coffee movement in Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, what makes the café culture original in the respective cities as well as café recommendations. There will also be a coffee sampling session for participants.
There will be two sessions – both 30 minutes each – at 1pm and 6pm. Admission is free.
