Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Traditional concepts of story telling are subverted through Eyres' videos, drawings and props.

An installation based around Eyres’ video ‘Autobiography’, 2013 is presented in this exhibition. Subverting traditional concepts of autobiographies and story telling, Eyres’ work endeavours to alienate its audience. Dark humour and abstract mannequins with no facial features, so that emotions become difficult to distinguish, render any potential empathetic connection between viewer and subject to be perpetually superficial. Alongside the videos are a series of recent drawings and a variety of ceramic wigs, gloves and flattened balloons, revealing their lack of purpose once they have been concretised.
