This survey of works from the 1950s and 60s by one of Britain’s most remarkable sculptors, includes Chadwick’s ‘Teddy Boy and Girl’ that won him the International Sculpture Prize at the Venice Biennale in 1956. Chadwick established his career with his angular figurative works after developing his early mobiles into freestanding forms. Here, his bronze figures are offset by a group of coloured geometric shapes made from unexpected Formica on wood. Make sure you don’t miss the pack of beasts downstairs.
