‘#TwittBrief’, according to organiser Adam Rowe’s website, ‘is a collaborative Twitter experiment showcasing work from some of the world’s top visual artists.’ It’s also a chance to snap up some prints on the cheap.
The event works like this:
First, Rowe invited followers to submit one-word ‘briefs’ on Twitter – words like ‘hot’ or ‘cosmic’, say. Next, he sent selected briefs to visual artists, giving them one month to complete a piece inspired by that word. Finally, on Tuesday May 7, prints of those pieces go on sale for £30 each.
A full gallery of works is available on Rowe’s website. All profits go to charity.
