Valentina Liernur: Solo Exhibition

Bleach-splashes and tears cover the surfaces of Liernur’s new wall-based works. Using fabric samples from a fashion supplier intended to be made into jeans and shirts, the Brazilian artist confronts the luxury commodity market and questions the fetishisation of textiles through spoiling the material.
