Located in the middle of an old Industrial estate next to a shabby little car park, this cocktail bar definitely has a unique and quirky vibe. The extensive cocktail and gin menu has something to suit everyone, however if you’re still unsure on what to choose the friendly staff will talk you through different options. Our cocktails all tasted amazing, and we ended up staying for a few rounds! Definitely worth a visit!

Mother's Ruin is located on the Ravenswood Industrial Estate, halfway between Walthamstow Village and Wood Street. The fairly grotty car park and units totally change of an evening and is now the place to go for a drink in Walthamstow. Mother's Ruin have a cocktail selection wide enough to suit just about everybody's tastes but if you or any of your friends prefer beer there are two micro-breweries opposite and everyone seamlessly mingles between all three establishments.

Friendly staff. Fantastic cocktails and wonderful flavoured gin and vodka to buy by the bottle.

Lovely friendly staff who let you try the sample gins before you drink & really know their stuff!

I have to confess I'm not much of a gin lover, however my friends wanted to pop in for pre-drinks before we moved on somewhere else and it was the best decision ever.

From the extensive drink choices to that secret feeling of drinking somewhere tucked away from the mania of a town centre location, we stayed for a few rounds more than planned.

I didn't know what to order and asked the staff for recommendations, the bartender recommended I tried the slow gin and it was a wise delicious choice!

The manager had also overheard that it was my birthday and gave me a very special drink which was very much appreciated.

10/10 would happily go again, and this from someone who doesn't really like gin!

Well-done sir. Former WWI munitions factory now gin/vodka hub. The drinks are not too pricey- about £6.50-£8.50 if I recall. The menu is not overwhelming which is nice. I got the elderflower and strawberry cocktail which did the trick and tasted lovely. There are snacks and desserts available for purchase. Cards accepted.

An excellent discovery, tucked away in the Ravenswood Industrial Estate carpark opposite the Wild Cards Brewery. This small cocktail bar is located in an old WW1 munitions factory, offering fruit liqueurs and tasty gin combinations. My friends had some excellent cocktails, whereas I was pleased to sample an excellent 'St George' Californian gin. Only open on Friday nights and the weekend.

A hidden gem with amazing cocktails and the biggest list of gin I've ever seen. This place feels like you've uncovered a secret that only locals know about and her infused gin is to die for.
