A pop-up Caribbean-inspired supper club is coming to London

Time Out in association with British Airways

Fancy a trip to the Caribbean? Yeah, us too. But now you can get a taste of the Caribbean without leaving the M25. We’ve teamed up with British Airways to host a Caribbean-inspired supper club, bringing sunny vibes to south London.

On 25 May, we’ll be transforming Tanner Warehouse in Bermondsey into a tropical paradise with palm trees and flowers, a steel band, a DJ pumping out reggae classics and a bar where you can make your own personalised cocktail. Rum punch, anyone?

Oh, and most importantly, we’ll be serving some seriously tasty Caribbean grub. Taste of the Islands will be an intimate supper club, with four feasting tables showcasing local dishes from Barbados, Grenada, St. Kitts and Tobago. Expect everything from jerk chicken with rice and peas to crab and snapper pelau and rum-baked pineapple for dessert.

If all that fiery food has you hankering for sun, blue skies and sandy beaches, you’re in luck. On the night, there will be a prize draw for one lucky person (and their equally lucky pal) to win a trip to the Caribbean for two.

Want to get in on the action? We’re giving away 12 pairs of tickets for each table at the Taste Of The Islands event – enter our competition here.
