Posh gin brand Bombay Sapphire is launching an immersive drinking and dining experience on a train this July, taking passengers around the world.

Okay, it’s not a real moving train – it’s a stationary carriage parked at east London’s swanky Banking Hall – so it’s not physically journeying around the world. Instead, customers will be transported on 10 sensory trips through the magic of drink, food and virtual reality in a ‘Grand Journey’ designed to celebrate the 10 botanicals that go into Bombay Sapphire gin.

Details are being kept deliberately mysterious at the moment, but we do know that Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers is doing the food, and apparently he’s making a juniper amuse bouche. There are also rumours of a coriander cocktail and a special ‘botanical vapour’. Let’s hope breathing that in gets us drunk. The whole journey costs just £30 so we’re definitely on board.

The Grand Journey will take place from 17-23 July at the Banking Hall in the City. Tickets are available here
