Ever wondered what the world would be like if someone doctored photos of ramen to badly Photoshop celebrities in and then write utterly spurious, but brilliant explanations of said image? No, you probably haven't. But someone's done it anyway, and the results are our new favourite thing on Instagram. It's called Celebrities In Ramen and here are some of the posts that have had us chuckling most of late. Hell, Mena Suvari was so happy when she made it on there that she left a comment to tell them so. Or at least that's what we assume she meant by "not funny and not true, fyi" (click the link, see the comments). Anyway, here are some of our fave of their bonkers bits of noodle-based humour.

 

Mena Suvari did a sponsored 'lie in your ramen for 12 hours' when she was a sophomore at high school and raised $1200 for the school gym roof. She told Sam Mendes about it and he took the idea and ran with it and now every time she lies down anywhere some asshole drops flowers on her thinking she'll find it funny. She doesn't. Jennifer Lawrence wanted to change the Hunger Games to the Ramen Games and it really nearly worked but because she's a woman the financiers and studio bosses dismissed her input and chortled about it in their country club. The funny thing was J-Law only said it as a joke but because she's a genuinely amazing person the rest of Hollywood took her seriously. As they should.
