‘Fun House’ could be coming back and this time, we can all play

It was a whole lot of fun and there were prizes to be won, and now that real wacky show where anything could go might be coming back if a new Indiegogo campaign launching today raises enough cash. ‘Fun House’ superfan Glen Middleham wants to bring back the ’90s show as a nearly two-hour long immersive live experience complete with all the old games, teams of six reds and six yellows, fun karts, a ball pool and a massive set. You’ll be relieved to know that Pat Sharp and The Twins are totally behind the idea and said they’d love to ‘re-run the fun’.

They’re hoping to raise a casual £650,000 through donations and you’ll only be able to get tickets to the event by pledging to the campaign. For early supporters, you can get a discounted ticket for £25, or just £10 gets you a Ball of Fame signed by Pat Sharp to go into the ball pit. Pat says that if someone donates the whole amount, he’ll reluctantly bring back the mullet. Don’t hold your breath for that though. If the incredible success of The Crystal Maze’s Kickstarter campaign last year is anything to go by (they raised almost £1 million), there’s a big nostalgic appetite for the return of ’90s TV shows so we hope people use their body and their brain (ie their wallets) if they want to play the game.
