Tofu fans had better step aside, because London's meatiest weekender is back for a third year this September and its line-up is looking more drool-inducingly delicious than ever. Meatopia 2015 will see chefs from incredible restaurants the world over creating dishes especially for the event, and there are heaps of London names we can't wait to be served by. Smokehouse's Neil Rankin, Duck and Waffle's Dan Doherty, Berber & Q's Josh Katz, Bleecker St's Chris Smith, Hawksmoor's Richard Turner… the list reads like a little black book of kitchen gods. And among the dishes to have been announced include Patty & Bun's 'The Spicy Old Cow', which involves 48-day-aged slow-roasted sirloin with pickled chillies, parsley, garlic and smoked beef dripping in a wood-fired sourdough bun.

Meatopia 2015 will also feature a beer section for the first time – Craftopia – with live brewing, pairings and drinks from the likes of Beavertown and Honest Brew. Tickets (£31.80) unfortunately don't include any food so make sure you're ready to fork out some extra cash on the day (and to queue for your favourites – last year's event was hectic), but when it comes to meat these guys are all winners, so hopefully the food will make it all worthwhile.

The meat feast takes place September 19–20, and tickets are on sale now. Find out more on our Meatopia event page.
