1. Voodoo Ray's

If you’re looking for an extravagant slice, look no further than Voodoo Ray's. It's single slice heaven. We’re crushing on the Hot Mix 5 with pepperoni, jalapeño, red chillies, red pepper, mozzarella and tomato sauce for £4. Also check out the Green Velvet slice with artichoke hearts, green olives, sunblush tomatoes, tomato sauce, mozzarella and green pesto sauce. Check ‘em out at their Daltson or Boxpark locations.

2. Homeslice

These quality slices are big and beautiful and they come in three varieties: margherita; salami, rocket and parmesan; or the veggie mushroom, ricotta, pumpkin seed and chilli. Perfect for lunch or late boozy nights. And all for £4 each.

3. NY Fold

Start spreading the news: NY Fold wants to bring a bit of New York to London with its thicker crust slices with generous toppings. For £3.95 you can get the Big Daddy – a combo of spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, caramelised onion, mozzarella and hints of lemon. Or the Starry Hope, which comes with mashed meatballs, caramelised onion, whipped ricotta, mozzarella and pesto.

4. Ice & Slice

Based in Fulham, this Italian spot is all about gelato and damn good pizza (thankfully not together). Its sourdough slices contain no yeast or artificial flavouring, and they're so hip they're square(ish). Grab a Roman-style slice for less than a fiver.

5. Vico

Vico's slices are on focaccia, so as you can imagine, they're amazing. For just a fiver, go for the Cruda with roasted tomatoes, raw buffalo mozzarella, rocket and prosciutto or try the Salt Cod Carpaccio with roasted tomatoes, raw salt cod, olives and rocket.

6. Paradise Slice Pizza Shop

This '80s-inspired US diner is a welcome addition to Brick Lane – especially as their slices start from £2.50.The tasty pepperoni and margherita are also a snip at £3, so here's to many days in pizza paradise.

7. Arancina

These dreamy slices are available at the counters of Arancina in Notting Hill and Bayswater. Run in and grab a slice of What The Hell?, topped with spicy salami and chilli.

But if a slice ain't enough, here are London's best restaurants for pizza.
